Many people, at some stage of their lives, will ask the question "Why should I become a Christian?"
Well, here are 23 reasons why you should become a Christian. This page is designed to help those who don't know God, or why they should choose Jesus, to make an informed decision.

You should become a Christian so that:

1.	So you don't get destroyed in Hell.  Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
2.	So that you can be forgiven. 1John 2:12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake.
3.	So that you can be Born Again. John 3:7 Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again.
4.	So that you can begin an incredible relationship with God. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,
5.	So that you can have incredible peace. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
6.	So that you will know the truth. John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself, but whatever He hears, He shall speak. And He will announce to you things to come.
7.	So that you can have direction in life. Psa 119:105 NUN: Your Word (Jesus) is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
8.	So that you can be set free. Joh 8:36 Therefore if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
9.	So that you can rejoice. Luk 19:37 And when He had come near, even now at the descent of the Mount of Olives, all the multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
10.	Covering over children. 1Co 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; else your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
11.	So that you may know the Cornerstone - a foundation on which to build. Isa 28:16 therefore so says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I place in Zion a Stone for a foundation, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure Foundation; he who believes shall not hurry. (Will not make hasty decisions)
12.	So that you will have an ability to pray. Mat 6:6 But you, when you pray, enter into your room. And shutting your door, pray to your Father in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.
13.	So that you may know healing. Mat 10:1 And when He had called to Him His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
14.	So that you can forgive others, and be forgiven. Mat 6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;
15.	So that you can be mature. 1Co 14:20 Brothers, do not be children in your minds, but in malice be like infants, and in your minds be mature.
16.	So that you can experience God in your life. The Lord continues to touch our hearts & our lives with His love and His light. His wonders are not limited to the heavens.
17.	So that the "sting" is taken out of death because of the ressurresction in Christ, life after death. 1Co 15:55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"
18.	So that you can have a more abundant and meaningful life. Joh 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
19.	So that you may know the power of prayer. Joh 14:13 And whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
20.	So that you may know God's support. Mat 11:28 Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
21.	So that you may know tremendous joy. Joh 16:24 Before now you have asked nothing in My name; ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.
22.	So that you may have understanding from God. Mat 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. Mat 13:17 For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear what you hear, and have not heard them.
23.	So that you may have an inheritance in Heaven. Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,

So why wouldn't you want to?

So many people avoid God because all they see is a rule book that will cramp their life style, but God is more than that. The things we hold on to are nothing in comparison with knowing Him.
